Okay, let's talk about this outfit.

Who hasn't imagined what it'd be like to be a rock star? I'm not a musician—even though I'm pretty sure I was, in another life—but that doesn't stop my girlfriends and I from daydreaming we're living the life of rock n' roll queens. 

For some people, that dream starts in high school with a ragtag garage band. For me, it started when I moved to Memphis from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. One thing I've grown to love about the Bluff City is that it's steeped in music history. From Sun Studios to house shows, it's a big part of the city's character. I love musical diversity, and I have Memphis to thank for that.  

That's what inspired this look, shot beautifully by my dear friend, Sara. It's perfect for shows, whether you're headed to see a big-name act, or a local hero at the Hi-Tone. Because, let's face it; nothing says "all-American rebel" like an all-black get-up with southwestern details.
