ABOUT

Hi. What's your name?
Hello, I'm Evelyn.

It's nice to meet you.
It's nice to meet you, too.

So, where are you from?
I'm from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

What do you love about fashion?
I love different cultures. And, to me, fashion is like a language we use to create and share who we are with the world around us.

That's interesting. So, how would you describe your personal style?
I appreciate different styles and trends... I would say my style is a blend of many. Right now, I find myself combining boho, 70's, western, and urban-chic styles. But, who knows? That could change tomorrow! That's what some people hate about fashion, but that's what I love about it.

How does living in Memphis influence your style?
Oh... in so many ways! Because, where I'm from, people care about their appearances. But, at the same time, it's important for everything to be coordinated; you can't wear polka dots with stripes, or things like that. One thing I love about Memphis is that it's an explosion of Latin, African American, preppy, and urban styles. I think that's made a huge impact on me.

Who is one of your fashion idols?
Françoise Hardy. She's a minimalist, but she's so chic. Especially now that it's time to start getting ready for fall, I'm thinking about her brilliant ensembles of boots, scarves, and skirts.

What's the best way for people to get in touch with you?
Feel free to send me an email, or contact me on Instagram! I've made sure to include my info on the Evestilo Contact page.

Okay, one more thing. What's your favorite snow cone from Jerry's?
I mean, Hurricane Elvis, of course! Oh, and you have to get a supreme; it's the only way to eat a Jerry's snow cone.
